The reduction of $7,000 at the end of September in the First Home Owners Stimulus Package to $14,000 for new homes and $10,500 for established homes will have further impact on the supply of housing to the growing WA population. The First Home Owners Grant will be further reduced from $14,000 to $7,000 at the end of the year.

On the first Tuesday of each month the Reserve Bank of Australia reviews its cash rate.  For the month of November it coincided with the Melbourne Cup.  The decision to raise the cash rate up by .25% to 3.5% was the second increase in two months.
